Licensed in DC? You can easily meet your continuing education requirements for your license renewal (July 31 deadline) since the learning lineup includes 21.25 Ethics CEs, 6 LGBTQ CEs, and 20 Public Health Priorities (PHP).

  • Trauma
  • Client Treatments
  • Trends in social work
  • Advocacy
  • Leadership
  • LGBTQ+ issues
  • Domestic violence

  • Addiction

The packed schedule includes two keynotes by nationally known presenters, nearly 30 interactive workshops and expert-led sessions, engaging breakout discussions for networking, an Annual Awards presentation, membership coffee with Executive Director Debra Riggs, and self-care activities! Peruse the full schedule here.

This year’s theme is “Social Work Accelerated: Adapting at the Speed of Change,” and the Virginia and Metro DC Conference Committee has kept this in mind when crafting an engaging and diverse lineup for every social work specialty.

In joyful celebration of gathering together in person again, we’ve also made sure to include everyone’s favorite event traditions:

We also are again offering a range of registration levels to best fit your needs and budget, including the popular Live-Virtual-Plus-60-Days and On-Demand-Only opportunities. Frankly, you’ll likely want to choose one of the on-demand options because of the sheer quantity of high-quality content, the in-the-trenches presenters, and convenient 24/7 access that maximizes your ability to earn CEs safely whenever and wherever it’s most convenient.
