If you cannot join us, you can check out the film at Mending Walls. The audio from the Q&A session will be recorded and available as a part of the virtual conference package(s), so we are encouraging in-person and virtual attendees to submit questions about the Mending Walls organization, social justice through public art, etc.. Disability Assistance/Special Needs

• Individuals who require assistance under the Americans with Disabilities Act for participation in this conference must contact NASWVA/Metro DC by February 8, 2023 at 804-204-1339 ext 202 (Jaime Strohhacker) or 804-204-1339 ext 203 (Michelle Pierre-Louis) to discuss your needs or concerns with staff.

Conference Notifications/Speaker Handouts

• NASW-VA relies on email to notify registrants of conference-related matters, including changes to the agenda and special announcements. When submitting your registration, be sure you are using a viable email address that enables you to receive notifications and pertinent messages in a timely manner. Please consider this when registering for someone other than yourself.
• Registrants will receive electronic access to session handouts and resources prior to the conference. It is your option and responsibility to print handouts in advance, if you so wish.

Registration Payments

• All in person registrations must be paid in full by March 25, 2023. Please note if you are not paying by credit card online, payment must be received in the chapter office no later than close of business Monday, March 20, 2023.
• All virtual registrations must be paid in full by April 22, 2023. Please note if you are not paying by credit card online, payment must be received in the chapter office no later than close of business Monday, April 17, 2023.
• Personal or agency checks returned due to insufficient funds are charged the balance due, plus a $20 bank fee and a $25 administrative fee.

Cancellations/Refunds

• For the in person conference, cancel your registration online by March 17, 2023, to receive a refund, minus a $50 administrative fee. Cancellations with refund will not be allowed after March 17, 2023.
• For the virtual conference, cancel your registration online by April 14, 2023, to receive a refund, minus a $50 administrative fee. Cancellations with refund will not be allowed after April 14, 2023.

In Case of Emergency/Illness

If you have a serious illness or emergency prior to or during the conference that prevents you from participating, please notify NASWVA by email (professionaldevelopment.naswva@socialworkers.org) as soon as possible.
